Fernando Monteiro holds a degree from the Catholic University of Argentina and a master’s degree from the University of São Paulo (USP). He previously worked as an economist at the consultancy “Tendências.”

Before joining Tullett Prebon Brazil, he served as Deputy Secretary for Economic Policy at the Treasury and was also the Chief Economist for Asset Management at Unibanco.
