David Silbert was named co-CEO of Energy and Commodities (E&C) in April 2025, having joined the Group in July 2024 to lead E&C in the Americas.

Prior to joining TP ICAP, David was the Founder and served as Senior Partner & Chief Executive Officer at Trailstone Group, the global commodities trading firm. Prior to that he served as Managing Director and Head of Deutsche Bank Global Commodities between 2007 and 2013. 

Before joining Deutsche Bank, David was Managing Director and Head of EMEA Commodities at Merrill Lynch, which he joined following its acquisition of Entergy-Koch Trading, where he served as CEO of its European division.
