Board skills and experience

Jane brings to the Board deep expertise in global financial markets, market infrastructure, and operational resilience, gained over a career of more than four decades spanning front-office leadership, strategy, and board roles across banking, market infrastructure, insurance, and asset management. Jane is an experienced Remuneration Committee Chair across FTSE-listed and regulated financial services firms and engages constructively with institutional investors, proxy advisers, and regulators. Jane was awarded a CBE for services to the Economy in the New Year Honours List in January 2021.

Career

Jane spent 15 years at Bank of America Securities, where she held senior leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer, Global Markets Group EMEA & Asia, and Managing Director, Special Situations Group EMEA. Earlier in her executive career she held senior positions at Westpac and Mitsubishi Bank in foreign exchange, treasury products, and corporate finance. She has subsequently held a wide portfolio of non-executive roles across financial services, market infrastructure, and government-linked entities, including UK Government Investments, UK Financial Investments, Connect Plus (M25), and the London Clearing House Group.
